For years Bryn has lived with the memory of her family’s slaughter and her own near death. The imprint of the rabid werewolf that was responsible, Samuel Wilson, has never left her mind. Being Alpha of her Cedar Ridge pack, Bryn would die to protect her siblings and her foster mother Ali and father Devon. Barely recognizable bodies have now been found near the Missouri and Wyoming territories and a meeting of the senate has been called as it is suspected to be the work of a rabid werewolf—and a female rabid werewolf at that.
When Bryn hears the senate chair, Shay, state that they have reason to believe that the rabid is a female, it is Maddy’s face that flashes before her eyes. A distraught Maddy left Bryn’s pack several months back, after Bryn killed the love of her life, Lucas. Lucas, the young boy who Bryn accepted into her pack, attacked Bryn and tried to kill her; Bryn had no choice but to bring him down. Now with the senate suspecting a female rabid, Bryn has to be sure it is not Maddy, because if it is the consequences will mean possible death for Maddy and the desecration of the Cedar Ridge Pack.
If you are a lover of werewolves and vampires, you will thoroughly enjoy this book. Its many twists and turns keep its readers anticipating what will happen next. A fantastic read for sure.
