This book held no surprises, it was exactly as it is called. A fairytale. A modern day Cinderella story.
While I enjoyed the book, it was unassuming as the entire book was predictable. But yet it was still easy to read. The story flowed nicely and the characters were easily related to Cinderella, even a fairy godmother! It allowed the book to be read with little effort which also allowed me to put it down and pick it up a few times without losing my place.
This book is like a warm cup of coffee from my favorite coffee shop. I know I have had it before but each time it is just a little different and I still love it each time. While I know the story-line from my childhood, the retelling of it by a new person changes the perspective just enough to make you fall in love with it all over again.
